SIX STEPS TO STOP CHEATING IN KNEC EXAMS         

1. Ensure all schools are well equipped.

Private schools are all known in performing well in KCPE and KCSE exams unlike the public schools. Country wide all private schools have all the required facilities required in academic affairs including well trained teachers. Most of public schools are poorly equipped .They have more students with less books and teachers. This therefore leads to cheating in exams so as to range equally with private schools.

2. Teachers welfare should be noted.

All worker wants to be appreciated for his/her good work and also being motivated. Our teachers needs to be cherished .To avoid all this strikes and stealing of exams then the education department should understand their workers and relate with them accordingly.

3. Introduction of entry exams in all high schools and university.

This will trim down the high number of students joining universities illegally. Each and every parent wish that their children to join national schools and the top universities in the country. Just like Indians, entry exams will actually help the institutions to select rightfully students joining them. It will also help the country to cut off corruption at large .The country will then come up with innovative people and this leads to development of our country.

4. Changes on how the exams are packaged and stored.               

This is critical on how exams happens to leak from the KNEC office to the students preparing for the same exam. This shows that there are people inside the KNEC office that are corrupt .There must be someone in the KNEC office that leaks the exams. Therefore the way the exams are packaged and stored should be definitely changed. People handling the exams too should be reshuffle.

5. Punishment introduced for the defaulters.

There are laws implemented to protect exams. Anyone that goes against this laws then he/she should be punished accordingly.

6. Withdraw ranging of schools.

Results should be released according to individual students and avoid ranging of schools. Every teacher want to hear that their school performed well .In today’s life teachers have lost manners on how to teach their students on passing the exams. Therefore you find some of our teachers help their students to cheat in exams in order to become top school in the country.
